Lagos has again blazed the trail in education support in the country as Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced a gift of N5 million and a full scholarship for Master’s programme to Shotunde Oladimeji Idris, the best graduating students of the Lagos State University with a CGPA of 4.95.

The Governor who announced the gift virtually while addressing the congregation at the 24th convocation ceremony of the Lagos State University said the recipient will get full scholarship to study any course of his choice at any university of his choice.
He said the gift is a token of the state government demonstration that Shotunde is worthy of emulation, stressing that other undergraduates will be inspired by this gesture.
