The well to do members of the society and Associations have been called upon to contribute to the fight against Corona Virus in Ekiti state and Nigeria at large.
The call was made by the commissioner for Health and Human Services in Ekiti state Dr. Mojisola- Yaya Kolade while receiving Equipments donated by members of Ekiti – eleven Social political Club to the state government especially the frontliners in the fighting of the pandemic at the Ekiti state Infection Disease Control Centre , Oba Adejuyigbe General Hospital premises , Ado-Ekiti.
Dr. Yaya-Kolade appreciated the Club for showing solidarity and support for the government at this trying time.
The Chairman of the Club Chief Kola Akosile disclosed that the Social club was established basically to assist and compliment the efforts of the state government
at developing the state.
Ch. Akosile said that the items donated were Lamps and Hand sanitizers noting that the government shouldn’t be left to do it alone.
“This is given out of our widow’s mite to the fight against Covid 19 pandemic”. He noted.
