Olufemi Odugbose, Veteran journalist and a former Deputy Chief Sub -editor of The PUNCH is dead.
He passed on to eternity this morning January 29.
In a statement by his family,his remains will be laid to rest in Ago-Iwoye this Saturday Jan. 31after wake-keep at his Ago-Iwoye residence tomorrow, Friday, January 30th.

Odugbose worked in Punch as sub-editor for many years and rose to deputy chief sub-editor before he resigned in 1999 and co-founded Treasure Weekly in Abeokuta in 1999.
A principled journalist, dedicated page-planner, author and publisher, he was a private secretary to the first civilian governor of Ogun State, Late Chief Bisi Onabanjo.
He had previously worked in the Nigerian Tribune as a reporter and sub-editor before joining Veteran journalist and writer, Chief Tola Adeniyi to edit The Stamp and Naked World, newspapers published by the chief in the early 1980s.
He is survived by his wife, four children and many grand children.
