Left office in 2007 without laying the Sevearance
Most of those who spoke to Newdawnngr.com attributed the non- payment of their entiletlements to the frosty relationship between ex Governor Fashola and his successor Governor Akinwunmi Ambode who ignored all entreaties by the appointees to pay the severance when he assumed office.
“Most of us Who served in some other establishments before joining the government lost our pensions and other entitlements and had to start all over again”declared one of the Ex -appointees
Since then, most of them have been left in the cold after serving the state for between four and eight years.

Gov Akinwunmi Ambode, rejected all entreaties to pay the debt he inherited
As a result, the appointees are appealing to incumbent Governors Sanwo-olu to do the needful before the end of his tenure.
“Since government is a continuum, there is no reason why Ex Governor Ambode refused to pay us. We want him to use his good offices to ensure that justice is done, declared one of the appointees.”
