Fagba,the popular area of Agege Lagos which erupted in violence and mass destruction of properties during the Endsars crisis has gradually turned into a slum and hide out for miscreants.
Most of the miscreants who erected shops,kiosks and display their wares on the road are not only aliens but of no fixed address.
Yes,the state environmental department has carried out demolition several times but the more they do,the bigger they return in full force after dust of each demolition has settled.
The miscreants have not only taken over half the road that’s leads to biggest Abbatoir and Lairage in Lagos state,but have also dumped their rubbish on the newly constructed rail line that will also serve the Red line which station is nearing completion in the area.
The miscreants occupying the area has not only posed security to lives and properties but will endeanger commuters expected to board the Red line train when it eventually takes off.
Governor Babajide Sanwo olu must find a lasting solution to this stubborn menace to rid Lagos of undesirable elements who have turned the Centre of Excellence to a Ghetto of sorts.
