To say that Iju area of Lagos State is now a place of mounting refuse is an understatement. Indeed, the situation on the long stretch of road is a sad reminder of the refuse and environment nuisance, which Lagos State was before known for 1999.
As pictures above reveal, refuse has taken over the frontage of Akute Junior school, Akute Senior School and the primary school located inside the large compound about three hundred metres from the popular Fagba Bus stop itself reeling under the yoke of miscreants and squartters that have  turned the axis to a slum and eye sore to whatever development Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has for the state.
It is curious that three public schools fences have been removed to give way for the construction of Fagba fly over. This has not only exposed the innocent students in such schools to danger,it has compounded the environmental hazard of the area now almost a blight to Lagos as Centre of Excellency.

Like Lekki, Fagba squatters gets five days quit notice
The earlier the better men of Lagos State Environmental Task Force led by Mr. Jejeloye swing into action before the schools are turned into another slum and outbreak of epidemic in the school whose conservative population cannot be less than five thousand.
