The management of Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), Lagos has raised alarm over the activities of a suspected fraudster impersonating the Rector of the institution.

This is coming barely a week after the launch of it’s N50billion endowment fund.
Deputy Registrar/Head of Public Relations, Ndubueze Ejiofor who raised the alarm in a statement made available to newsmen at the weekend cautioned students, staff and the general public to beware of the antics of the suspected impostor using the GSM number 09028699553 to extort money from the public in the name of Engr Obafemi Omokungbe, the Rector of the Institution.
Ejiofor disclosed that efforts are ongoing to track down the culprit.
“I wish to advise the public to be vigilant and avoid any form of communication with the GSM number,” the statement added.
