LETTER OF INTRODUCTION/SUPPORT
On behalf of the staff and management of Optimistic Outlook Initiative For Niger Delta, we write to appreciate you and what you have been using your outfit=The Vanguard Newspapers to do for mankind, especially Nigeria.
Thank you for what you have done, what you are doing and what you will do in future, we are watching with keen interest.
Having said that sir, We will like to use this opportunity to introduce Optimistic Outlook to you; it is a new organization that is out to add it’s voice to the advocacy of the arrested development of the entity called the Niger Delta region, which incidentally, lays the golden egg for Nigeria but is constantly raped, abused and neglected by the Nigerian nation.
We started our advocacy, which includes the call for reparations and restitution for Niger Delta for the degradation and deprivation it has suffered and continues to suffer since oil was discovered in commercial quantity in Oloibiri in the 1950s with a resounding Press Confidence on the 1st of February 2022 at the Marriott Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, effect of, which is still echoing and we are poised to stage our second International Press Conference at the grave side of late Ken Saro-Wiwa in Bane, Ogoniland. The highlights of the Press Conference will be a Posthumous Award of Courage, Boldness and Vision to the Late Environmental Rights Activist- Ken Saro Wiwa and the distribution of our Youthpreneurship Forms to interested Youths.
The press conference will bring to the fore, our Youthpreneurship Project which has already begun with the recruitment of 30,000 youths-5000 per state for Entrepreneurial Soft Skill /Technical Apprenticeship Training, with a set off seed grants.
We’re also working with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with the aim of inducting them fully into the world of enterprise.
To this end sir, we are seeking your support as a true son of Niger Delta, and that of your outfits in helping in ventilating our messages in form of news reportage, advert, interviews, etc.
