The Nigerian Media Merit Award organisers has set it’s long held policy of discussing the issues pertaining to award entrants, nominees and winners with third party.
This was the reply Newdawnngr got when it’s reporter sort to know why the award organisers have not paid it’s 2019 winners the N100,000 that came with the award.
In an unassigned reply sent to our phone, NMMA said, “Thanks for your sir.
As a rule, we do not discuss issues of Award Entrants, Nominees and Winners with third parties.
However, out of respect for you, we Hereby provide a general information.
All Winners have been paid through their cheques over the years and upto 2021.
Anyone with individual issue on the cheque issued has been advised on options open, in line with standard banking regulations, which we abide with. Thank you,” the release said.
