It was a double tragedy for a farmer in Ajowa Akoko area of Ondo state as some yet-to-be identified gunmen have invaded the house of a farmer Wednesday.
The attack by the unknown gunmen led to the killing of the farmer’s two children while another two children were kidnapped.
The incident was said to have thrown the community into tension.
When contacted, the state’s police Spokesperson, Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the incident to NPOreports via telephone call Thursday.
He said that the matter is being investigated and promised that the culprits would be brought to book.
He said, “We are investigating. We are trying to arrest the hoodlums who did that”.
