Kwara United hit three past stubborn Dakkada

Kwara United advanced their contention for the season’s league title following a command performance that routed Dakkada FC  3-0 in Ilorin in one the NPFL Matchday 10 fixtures played at the Kwara State Sports Complex in Ilorin.
Former Enyimba winger, Wasiu Alalade, Michael Ohanu and Alao Dambani were on target as Kwara United put Dakkada FC to the sword
The hosts took the game to their visitors from the start pushing the Uyo side coached by Danlami on the back foot.
They were unlucky not to have taken the lead after three minutes when a sublime strike by Michael Ohanu crashed against the cross-bar after he found space in the opposition’s goal area.
Dakkada FC struggled to respond but had to resort to long balls forward when possession was dominated by the opponents.
The Harmony Boys eventually got the curtain raiser on 13th minute through former Enyimba winger, Wasiu Alalade who struck home from close range after Dakkada goalie could not deal with a volley from Taiwo Salaudeen.
Dakkada would then had their top moment of the game on 20th minute when Nsikale sent a dangerous cross into the goal area of the hosts but Jide Williams averted the danger
Dakkada had a second chance to restore parity on 23rd minute after they worked a couple of spaces down the left before Muritala fired straight at Aiyenugba.
Kwara United would retake dominance by possession but could not carve the space for a goal out of Dakkada defense line.
The dominance would have counted when Salaudeen Taiwo sensational free kick  was saved by Dakkada goalkeeper
Coach Abdullahi Biffo made a double change at halftime as Chisom Samuel and goal scorer Wasiu Alalade made way for Issa Gata and Olawale Farayola respectively.
Dakkada Coach also responded with double substitution on 56th minute as Nsikale Moses and Captain Aniekan Ekong made way for Austine Oyasande and  Archibong Phillip
Michal Ohanu finally got his name on the score sheet on 72nd minute when he connected well to Salaudeen Taiwo’s pinpoint cross and poked the ball into the back of the net to double Kwara United.
Minutes after, it was Alao Danbani who also put his name on the score sheet, slotting home from close range after he pounced unto a spilled ball by Dakkada goalie, Oremade. The goalkeeper failed to adequately deal with a longe effort by Stephen Jude.
Dakkada poked and knocked but could not break the resolute defense of Kwara United as the game ended 3 – 0 in favour of the Harmony Boys
