Two feared killed as bandits rob bullion vans in Lagos

Two persons were feared killed by stray bullets today as armed robbers hijacked a bullion van at the Ajah area of Lagos.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred along Addo Road, near a supermarket called Blenco.

The hijacked armoured Toyota Hilux was reportedly peppered with bullets that appeared not to penetrate the body.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the bandits shot at the tyres to stop the vehicle, and also blasted the lock of the cash storage.

The lifeless body of an unidentified commercial motorbike rider that was hit by a stray bullet was seen at the scene.
