Notable actress, Funke Akindele and hubby,Abdul Rasheed Bello, with 20 others on Monday pleaded guilty for unlawful assembly before the Ikeja magistarial district holden at Ogba.

They were charged for breaking the social distancing directives on Friday 4th at 9 Gbadamosi close,Amen estate,Ibeju Lekki in the Lagos magisterial district.
According to the charge sheet no MK/A/43/2020 the defendant has broken the distancing directives of Mr Governor of Lagos state made pursuant to Regulation 8(1)(a) & (b) and 17(I) of the Lagos state Infectious Diseases (Emergency Prevention) Regulation 2020 and thereby commuted an offence punishable under section 58 Public Health Law Cap P16 vol.9 Laws of Lagos state.
They were arraigned before magistrate Aje Afuwa who stand down the trial for 30 minutes to pronounce judgement.
The charge sheet was signed by Y G Osjoala,Director of public prosecutions,Lagos state for Attorney General of Lagos state.
It will be recalled that the police on Sunday arrested the actress for organising a birthday party for her husband Abdul Rasheed Bello.
