Delta State Government through its ministry of information has called on the members of the public, especially unemployed Deltans, to ignore the reports, especially in the online medium, alleging that the state’s Civil Service Commission is recruiting workers into the state’s civil service.
A release issued in Asaba, the state capital and signed by the state Commissioner for Information, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah said, “The attention of the Delta State Government has been drawn to some online reports that the State Civil Service Commission is recruiting workers into the state civil service.
“The state government, by this notice, is making it clear that the government is not recruiting workers for now and advised Deltans to disregard the online report.
“The report is the handiwork of mischief makers who are out to mislead and dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
“Due process will be followed when the state government is to embark on any recruitment exercise.”
