Former Kano Deputy governor resigns two months after joining PDP

Former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Prof. Hafiz Abubakar has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), two months after joining the party.

Prof. Hafiz resigned as a Deputy Governor to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje following the defection of his godfather , Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso to PDP

Prof. Hafiz aspiration to clinch governorship ticket of PDP for Kano state failed despite his loyalty to Kwankwaso.

He submitted his resignation letter to his ward chairman in Kano state on October 29.
