I love railways

They are the most economic means of transportation. Cheap, efficient. non intrusive, less hazardous.

Best for industrial development as they move more goods at less cost.

The Lagos Abéòkúta Ìbàdàn Railway is the first railway in the South West since 1896! Construction started about 2 years ago and should be complete by 1st quarter 2019 if not by December, 2018.

It cost $1.4bn, 50% of what taken directly from CBN by those promising us Eldorado in 2019, and shared on 2015 election.

Lagos Abéòkúta Ìbàdàn Railway – statistics.

156 km.
9 stations – Apapa, Agege, Agbado, Kajola, Papalanto, Abéòkúta, Olodo, Omi Adio, and Ìbàdàn.
4 extra large bridges
11 large bridges
4 medium bridges
2 steel bridges
10 frame bridges
207 culverts
40 railway crossing bribes – no level crossing
31 pedestrian overpasses

Already at Abéòkúta in less than 3 years.

This may mark the end of gridlock on Lagos Ìbàdàn expressway. This is infrastructure, this is thinking.
