Atiku,El Rufai
Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has named Nasir el-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna, and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen to his campaign council for the 2027 elections.
Phrank Shaibu, Atiku’s media aide, announced the appointments in a statement issued on Thursday, saying Kashim Ibrahim-Imam will chair the council, with el-Rufai as deputy chairman.
El Rufai is presently in the custody of the DSS awaitibg fulfilment of the bail bond in continuation of his trial,while Hayatudeen it will be recalled contested with Atiku for ADC presidential promaries but lost.
