‘Sniper: No Nation’, an action thriller following elite snipers on a high-risk mission against a dangerous terrorist network, has topped Nigeria’s Netflix film chart this week.
The film attracted strong viewership for its intense action sequences and military-themed storyline, securing the number one position.
‘Ikka’, a drama exploring family ties, loyalty and personal struggles, ranked second on the chart.
In third place is ‘Nothing To Lose’, a biographical drama chronicling the life, trials and resilience of a prominent religious leader while ‘The Town’, a crime thriller centred on a group of bank robbers whose lives are complicated by love and law enforcement, came in at fourth.

Fifth position is occupied by ‘The Accountant’, an action thriller following a brilliant accountant with a hidden life as a deadly operative, while ‘Peddi’, a drama that explores ambition, relationships and the pursuit of justice, appeared in sixth place.
In seventh position is ‘Kung Fu Panda’, the animated adventure about an unlikely panda who rises to become a legendary martial arts hero, while ‘Death on the Nile’, a mystery thriller based on Agatha Christie’s novel, ranked eighth.
Ninth position is held by ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’, a fantasy adventure following an expedition to a legendary island filled with extraordinary creatures and hidden secrets.
Rounding off the top 10 is ‘King of Thieves’, a crime drama inspired by the real-life Hatton Garden heist, carried out by a group of ageing career criminals. (NAN)
