Indian film star, Dhamebdra has died at the age of 89.
Born Dharam Singh Deol on December 8, 1935 in Punjab, Dharmendra was also in his hey days a member of the Indian parliament.
Also known as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, he had a career that spanned more than 60 years with 250 films to show for it.

Dharmendra, who died on Monday, moved to Mumbai in 1958 after winning a celebrity magazine’s talent competition.
“I only had my dreams,” he told biographer Rajiv Vijayakar. “I was an untutored villager, with no idea of acting.”
Among his popular films are Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Anupama, Satyakam, and Seeta Aur Geeta.
Others are Pratiggya, Yaadon Ki Barat, Dharam-Veer, Yamla Pagla Deewana/Apne, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
