Harry Keane Sends Home Congo With Brace in Round of 32.
…Sets up a Mexico Versus England in R16 Games.
Bayern Munich Striker and Three Lions of England Skipper, Harry Keane Wednesday at the Atlanta Stadium in USA proved empirically that the Lions are stronger than the Leopards when his brace (two goals in a match) sent off the wild Leopards of DR Congo in the round of 32 match at the 2026 world cup.
England Manager, Thomas Tuchel distressed by the Leopards lead goal had brought in two changes in the 61st minute pulling out Marcus Rashford for Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka for Noni Madueke which tactically changed the game and gave the match to England.
Gordon improved on the move by Nigerian born Eberechi Eze to find Keane positioned at the centre of the box to head home the equalizer in the 70th minute. Eberechi had come in for Djed Spence.
Kane sealed the match in the 86th minute from a Gordon connect to score from the right side of the box. That summed up to be the 5th goal for Harry Keane who will be 33 years old on 28th July in the tournament.

The Leopards of Congo had rattled the Lions of England with a 7th minute opener from Brian Cipenga who scored from the left side of the box from a pass given by Chacel Mbemba. Match ended England 2 DR Congo 1.
