Governor Similayi Fubara of Rivers
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee for the Rivers State House of Assembly has officially released its results, clearing 33 aspirants and disqualifying 65 others following a two-day exercise held on May 9 and 10, 2026.
The committee, chaired by Rt. Hon. Muraina Ajibola, evaluated a total of 98 aspirants at the State Secretariat in Port Harcourt. While the exercise was generally orderly, it was marked by a reported bribery attempt and security friction.

The following 33 individuals successfully verified their credentials and met the party’s eligibility criteria to participate in the upcoming primaries:
