A fire outbreak occurred in the Abule Egba area of Lagos on Monday afternoon, causing panic and fear among residents and traders in the area.
The inferno, reportedly close to the Pipeline, Ilepo axis, escalated rapidly, sending thick smoke into the air and forcing people to vacate the area for th we m.
Several properties, including shops and nearby structures, were affected as efforts were made to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.

Emergency responders later arrived at the scene and worked to bring the fire under control, significantly reducing the risk to surrounding buildings and the nearby pipeline corridor.
Although no casualties have been reported but multiple properties were said to be damaged in the fire incident.
As of press time, the cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed, and authorities are expected to carry out a full investigation.
