…Properties lost in inferno
Suspected vandals on Sunday ruptured some pipelines of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) causing an explosion in Oke-Odo area of Lagos.
Residents told The Nation several houses and properties have been burnt in the inferno, which started around 7pm.
Director General of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency Dr Oluwafemi Okesanyintolu confirmed the incident.
It was gathered that fire fighters have been mobilised to the area with residents completely in distress as the fire rages on.
