President Bola Tinubu has on Wednesday paid a visit to a hospital in Makurdi, Benue State capital, where victims of herders’ attack were admitted.
NPO earlier Reported the President’s arrival at the state capital for his condolence visit to victims of the suspected armed herdsmen attack at Yelewata town during the weekend.
Following his arrival, Tinubu alongside the state governor, Alia Hyacinth, and other officials visited the hospital where some of the injured victims were admitted.

As captured in series of pictures shared on X, the President who wore a nose mask as he visited the hospital wards accessed the injured victims.
The multiple attack which occurred on Friday night till the early hours of Saturday claimed the lives of over 200 residents of the town located at Guma local government area of the state.
While some were shot and hacked to death by the assailants, several others were locked in their rooms and burnt alive.
The tragic incident had since been heavily condemned across the nation.
