Medical Doctors in Nigera practice with intense tears due to difficulties in medical management that includes hazards of wrong diagnosis and poor equipment.
Deputy Vice Chancellor, Bingham University, Prof Musa Doukyan stated this on Sunday in Jos at the special Thanksgiving service of the Batch N named “Soteria – Preserved by God” because the 2018-2019 batch was greatly affected by the Covid pandemic but the set did not lose any member.
Prof Musa who himself had 30 years of Medical Practice explained that many experienced Doctors weep silently when their beloved patients die either due to medical management or lack of drugs.
He urged the students who will be sitting for their final exams this month to be strong and courageous to face post medical experiences.
Guest Speaker, Rev. Joshua Sati who was former Pastor of ECWA Plateau Church, Jos said studying medicine is not only an academic affair but a spiritual journey that does not end at Medical school but an endless journey of life that will take an outstanding Medical Practitioner to excel.
He told them they will face difficult situations even diagnostic challenges and fearful situations (like pandemic outbreaks) but they that fear Jehovah God will not fear situations or people.
Rev. Sati asserted that Medical practice takes high level spiritual senses to thrive “and when you don’t deploy your spiritual senses, you will never be outstanding, you need a sharp and strong spiritual senses to be outstanding in modern medicine”.
Calling on the graduating students to be strong in stressful situations, Rev. Sati told them that outstanding Warriors breed great Warriors after them.
According to him, King David was the only outstanding Warrior Israel had to face Goliath in Bible times but even he raised 300 great Warriors called “Men of David” urging the medical graduate designates to thrive to breed great Doctors when their chance to do that come.
The President of ECWA Church in Nigeria who owns Bingham University, Rev (Dr.) Job Ayuba Bagat in his sent speech, said the University was founded with a clear vision, “to raise professionals who are not only academically brilliant but also spiritually grounded and ethically unwavering”.

Rev. Bagatelle urged the graduating SOTERIA SET “to uphold the highest standards of integrity, empathy, and self service” they have imbibed in their difficult medical learning years at Bingham University.
Parents joined academic and none academic Staff to give thanks while the graduating students rendered special songs with their dance offerings.
Bingham University Teaching Hospital Jankwano Jos gave presents to outstanding graduating students especially the Executives of their Chapel among who is Miss Oluwaferanmi Olatunji who was the Worship Director of the Chapel.

The President of the Batch N called Soteria Group, Oluwakayode Favour presented a special gift to through the Chaplain of the Bingham Jos Chapel, Pastor Andrew Peter Karsi on behalf of the graduating students.
The formal induction of the students into the Medical Profession will be conducted later in the year by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) in Jos.
