Reprieve came the way of the trio former Queen of Ife,Naomi Silekunola and Broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat as an Ibadan High Court has granted them bail in the sum of N10 million after spending days in custody as a result of the death of 35 children during a stampede.
Also granted bail in the like sum is Abdulahi Fasasi, principal of Islamic High School, Bashorun, Ibadan.

The trio are standing trial over the tragic funfair stampede that led to the death of 35 children at the school on December 18, 2024.
Another condition for their bail is the provision of two sureties with landed property for Ibadan.
The court also directed the defendants to submit their international passports and should not grant media interviews.
