Says Nigeria can no longer afford to be Father X-mass to West African countries
…..vows not to reduce the size of his cabinet
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that he has no regret in removing fuel subsidy in the country.
He declared in his first Presidential Media chat that removing the subsidy is the best way to go adding that the country can no longer afford to be father Christmas to other West African countries who are the Major beneficiaries because of activities of smugglers.
In answer to a question about the size of his cabinet,President Tinubu declared that he won’t reduce the size of his cabinet because the country with its population needs an effective and efficient cabinet.
” Imagine if you have to cook food for 200 million people how many cooks would you need talk less of waiters and others to make sure the food goes round.
He said that what the country needed now is efficiency of the Ministers and their ministries.

President Tinubu said that his government has been able to reduce debt servicing from 98% to below 65% adding that the country has maintained relative stability without resorting to Ways and Means that destroyed the economy.
He also disclosed that various efforts taking by his administration has improved the nations security architecture especially in the Northern parts of the country.
Said he,”people can now travel by road from Kaduna to Abuja,Maiduguri and other Northern state’s without fear of Attack.
He commended the military for the yeoman Task been made to secure the country and promised to ensure better welfare for the armed forces.
