Passenger services will begin daily at 6:00 AM from Agbado, with a second train departing Iju Station at 7:30 AM. Commuters are required to use their Cowry Cards to board the trains.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also urged citizens to protect the new infrastructure from vandalism, stressing the importance of maintaining the trains as a safe and enjoyable service for all.
With the addition of the Red Line, Lagos now boasts a growing rail network, following the successful operation of the Blue Line, as the city continues its journey towards a modern, interconnected public transport system.
