Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Ibadan Gani Adams has appealed to South West Governors to consider the two proposals he sent to them.on solving insecurity in the region.
Adams who spoke as a guest of Honour atbthe 7th Yearly lecture of Freedom online sent the message through Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu who was Guest Speaker at the event themed:2027 Elections: Economy,Security and Nigeria’s Future.

Speaking further,he reiterated his call for the establishment of state police without which he said the fight against insecurity is meaningful.
Said,” if we do not do something tangible on creation of state police,different groups with different motives will create their platform which may boomerang on the country.
According to him,if state police is approved,insecurity will become a thing of the past within six months.
