The management of Dangote Petrochemical Complex says it has contained the fire incident in it’s premises.
In a statement by Anthony Chiejina,Group Chief Branding and Communications officer,the company said the minor fire incident occured at its Effluent Treatment Plant early Wednesday 26 of June.

“there is no cause for alarm as the Refinery is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to any of our staff on duty”,he said in a statement.

It will be recalled that Newdawnngr has recorded a fire outbreak at the Complex few days after it’s President allege plans by International Oil Companies,IOCs to frustrate the roll -out of the Premium Motor Spirit $20bn refinery by July this year.
