It was indeed a demonstration of love knows know boundary as the families of Mr Adegboyega and Mrs Adebayo Fatoki threw their doors open to the Adams family from the United States of America.
The laters son,Myles got married to Ibukun Oluwa, Daughter of the Fatokis.
For Myles, it was love developed in God’s own country but consumated in Nigeria as he brought his parents, friends, colleagues and well wishers from the United States to pluck ‘a flower’ from the Fatoki family by solemnizing his wedding to IbukunOluwa.
It was indeed a display of African culture as the US Adams family train performed the traditional engagement ceremony Thursday Feb 22nd before capping it with the Church wedding at the Chapel of Christ the Light , Alausa Business District before the reception at The Events Center,Hakeem Balogun Street.
And the Fatokis spared nothing in treating the American family in the best of Yoruba nay African hospitability to the pleasure of the guests.
It was obvious they were thrilled by it all as they danced, clapped in the local way to show their appreciation of the African culture in display both during the engagement and reception after the Church wedding.
The peak of the celebration and reception was the presence of Old Students Association of Brides parents-African Church Grammar School, Abeokuta and Abeokuta Girls Grammar School,in same ancient city, as they add colour and grandeur to the reception.
