Boundary dispute:Olowu doused tension in Elere and Ajipatutu over land dispute.

A quick intervention to resolve a boundary dispute between two Owu towns in Ewekoro Local Government of Ogun State, weekend, has averted a potential strife in the communities.

Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola, Olowu of Owu, Abeokuta had directed the Owu Mediation Centre, led by Oba Olufemi Ogunleye, Towulade Akinale and Akogun Owu, Chief Ishola Akinsipo to intervene in a land dispute between Elere and Ajipatutu to him by the disputants.

In a jiffy after a plenary session with the disputants, Oba Ogunleye and his mediative team proceeded to the locus inquo where they were conducted round land marks on the towns’ boundaries.

With the assistance of surveyors and town planners in the mediative team, series of sketches and derivative tangents had been estaisged to assist resolution, as discussion progresses.
