Today, August 19 2023, Mr. Kunle Onime’s Roots 19. FM station, is four years!
Founded by the experimental marketing guru, the station promotes more of reggae music.
Located in the rocky city of Abeokuta, not many gave it a chance when it started as the the city, which is also the capital of Ogun State, is the home base of outstanding juju, apala, fuji and Afrobeat musocians. But no, Onime believed in himself, the product he has and launched out into business and today, Roots FM is first among equals. Radio listeners and advertisers are reckoning with.
