Within twenty four hours,the House of Representatives has approved a request by President Bola Tinubu to be allowed to spend Five hundred billion out of the quarter four 2023 budget allocation as part of palliatives to cushion effect of fuel subsidy.

The approval was granted Thursday after the request passed through the first abd second reading of the whole house.
The president it will be recalled had sent a request to the house to grant it permission to spend the money as part of palliatives to cushion effect on subsidy removal in June.
