Former Governor of Bauchi state, Isa Yuguda has said that President Muhammadu Buhari and the Finance Minister cannot claim ignorance of the scam in the oil sector regime sector.
Yuguda spoke on Channels Television morning programne Arise on Monday morning.
He said that as minister of Petroleum resources it is within the purview of President Buhari to scrutinize the system.
According to him since the President “swore to the Koran to defend Nigerias interest he must defend the state.
Yuguda, a former minister of state also admitted that President Tinubu with has a knowledge of the rot in the system and knows how to go about it adding,”he needs our prayers .
The former Managing Director of Nal Merchant Bank said the financial system in the country is rotten adding ,”The financial system is really rotten as he rightly said and he has started well by doing something about it..
He also attributed much of the blame in the nations financial system to the executives of banks and other financial institutions adding that their flashy lifestyle is a reflection of the rot in the system.
