Let NNPC publish names of 143 beneficiaries of subsidies- Banjo

NNPC and Ministry of Finance have the names of 143 payees who received subsidies. They know who kidnapped Okonjo Iweala’s family members including her aged mother. If they mean well for Nigerians, all they should have done was to have taken a bold step to begin the repair of our refineries. I don’t think all these governments starting from Murtala in Khaki to Buhari in Babanriga shouldn’t have spent all the funds they have been collecting from the systemic increase of fuel prices to repair, refurbish or build new refineries. The trillions spent on subsidies should have also been spent on laying pipes to various states with technologies to arrest vandalisers and prosecute them. Once the refineries are repaired and pipes are laid to various states, all the governments need to do is to allow fuel companies to bid for delivery into the fuel stations. With my little brain, it is my considered opinion that it is unfair, no brainer, inefficient and heartless to punish the masses for offences not committed by them. It is the government inefficiency, incompetence and encouragement of corruption that should be blamed and held responsible. They shouldn’t expect me to go in front of tankers to stop them from taking fuel outside my country when Buhari was determined to overlook taking fuel into his country Niger Republic. We all watched the termination of an appointment of a police officer who prevented tankers from taking our fuel across the border. To further punish him and his family members with increase in fuel price is heartless. I stand alone with the masses who may not deserve standing with, except to do the will of God, on this issue. It is not right to describe the subsidies scammers as unseen forces and powerful than government when Nigerian governments set Fela’s home on fire, arrested and persecuted several Nigerians, like Chief Gani Fawehinmi from 1969 to 1996, Femi Falana, Tai Solarin etc., but these various governments are powerless to arrest and prosecute criminals. Obasanjo even razed Odi town and massacred Nigerians including senior citizens. To those who are saying subsidies don’t exist, I beg to ask these questions and I desire

Tinubu meets EFCC, NNPCL chieftains enlightenment. First, what is to expire in June 2023? Secondly, what is gone? Can something not in existence be removed or be made “gone”? On the very day President YarAdua was sworn in, he reduced the price of fuel. What did YarAdua know that other Presidents refused to recognize. Why do we just hate ourselves for goodness sake?
