The death has been announced of the Matriach of Ogunleye Dynasty and Royal House of Akinale, Chief Mrs. Louisa Olajumoke Oyelese, in Maryland United States of America.
Chief Olajumoke Oyelese nee Akinkunmi,was an educationist, retired Principal of several secondary Schools in Ibadan in the old Western Region.
A grand daughter of Madam Shilenbola Ajibabi Akinkunmi, first daughter of Akanni Ogunleye, Baale Akinale in the 19th century and grand father of Oba Olufemi Ogunleye.
Chief Oyelese was the Yeye Oba Owu Akinale, aged 89.
She is survived by a brother, two sisters children and grand children.
Yeye Oba Akinale will be buried in Maryland, USA on Wednesday.
