Former governor of Ogun state,Senator Ibikunle Amosun has described the late Ambassador Demola Seriki as a patriotic Nigerian who have his all in the service of Nigeria.
The Senator representing Ogun central said this in his condolence message to the family on the demise of Nigerias Ambassador to Spain,who passed on Thursday in Madrid.

I mourn the passing, earlier today, Thursday, 15 December, 2022, of a brother and friend, Amb. Demola Seriki, the Nigerian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain. He was 63 years old.
Demola Seriki: Lagos Speaker mourns
It is saddening, shocking, and painful that Amb. Seriki would succumb to death at this point in time. This is a personal loss to me and a great loss to our nation. He was a patriotic Nigerian and a respected politician who served our nation selflessly and committedly.
Amb. Demola Seriki gave his all to the service of our nation, having served as Minister of State for Defence, Interior, Agriculture, Water Resources, Mines, and Steel Development, and most recently as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain.
I commiserate with his widow, children, grandchildren, and indeed the entire Seriki family and friends over this sad occurrence.
I also commiserate with President Muhammadu Buhari and the Government and People of Lagos State as we mourn the passing of this great politician and public servant.
May the Almighty Allah (SWT) grant him Aljannah Firdaus and give his family, friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
