The people of Isialangwa North and South local government areas of Abia State on Monday rolled out the red carpet for their son, Dr. Alex Otti, as they formally sent him forth to contest the governorship of the state in 2023.
Abia 2023 and the Otti challenge
Otti is the gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the election coming up March 11, 2023. He is from Umuehim, Umuru, Nvosi in Isialangwa South.
The event was a prelude to the official flag-off of the Alex Otti campaign towards the 2023 election, holding on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the football field of Ngwa High School, Aba, the commercial capital of Abia.
It was a very memorable as well as historic event, both for the LP candidate and the Isialangwa people, as it brought together the two Isialangwas to jointly endorse the candidacy of Alex C. Otti Dr. Otti and all the other candidates vying for various public offices at the federal and state levels.

Highlight of the event attended by massive crowd of Labour Party supporters and Obidients from the two communities of Isialangwa, was a joint prayer by a group of elders, who called on God to grant the candidates safety during the campaign and victory at the polls.
