..Afenifere meeting now to take place in Akure
…Says Tinubu is our candidate ,Obi has no pact with us
Afenifere leader ,Chief Reuben Fasoranti has maintained that he remains the leader of the group and that subsequent meeting will now take place in Akure and not Ijebu ogbo home of acting leader,Chief Ayo Adebanjo.

Speaking further he said it was a misconception by some people that he was senile hence the monthly meeting was shifted to Ogbo ,home of Chief Adebanjo without his consent.
He said that contrary to belief,he was not consulted on the purported endorsement of Peter Obi by Afenifere adding that Bola Tinubu is the candidate endorsed by popular acclaim by Afenifere leaders.
Said he,”We believe in restructuring and that is our credo.there is no pact between Afenifere called Afenihez adding that Restructuring remain the cardinal objective of Afenifere and fully subscribe to by Tinubu.
Speaking on security,he said that Amotekun has been doing it’s best especially in Ondo state adding that the option left is to strengthen it more for security of lives and property.
Still on Tinubu he declared,”Jagaban is our candidate and he remains our choice.
Speaking further he condemn the strike by the Academic Staff union of university,ASUU adding that government must listen to their complaints to save the future of students in the country.
“When education is falling,the future is in jeopardy.”he declared.
Chief Fasoranti maintained that henceforth meeting has been shifted to Akure adding that he has not been going to Ogbo for the meeting contrary to general belief.
