The skyline of Owu kingdom in Abeokuta the Ogun state capital will soon be graced with a 50 storey official complex courtesy of Owu indigenes in the diaspora.

The edifice is part of the new development about to kick off in the Owu territory to herald one of the infrastructural developments promised in the works by new Olowu of Owu,Oba Professor Saka Adelola Matemilola, Otileta V11.
The cheering news for Owu nation was broken to Newdawnngr.com by the Kabiyesi,Oba Matemilola in an exclusive interview at his Ipebi, the spiritual recluse for new Obas in Yorubaland.
According to him, the edifice which will be first of it’s type in Abeokuta is one of the several business developments plans to change the face and fortunes of the Owu kingdom.
Speaking further,he said that his tenure will witness the development of human capital of the citizenry through youths empowerment in IT and acquisition of other educational skills.
He however spoke of the urgent need to build synergy among other four Obas in Abeokuta to maximise the potentials of the vast territory adding,”development is not about Owu alone but Abeokuta alone in general.
According to him,investors have to see the availability and benefits that will encourage them to”come on board and also lend support to ensure it happens”.
