The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will on July 21 hold a crucial meeting on the 2022 Policy for the 2022/2023 admissions.

In a report, The Punch quoted JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, as confirming this “in a text message sent to our correspondent in Abuja on Wednesday.”
It reported that the meeting, which is scheduled to have in attendance, all heads of tertiary institutions in the country, is expected to be chaired by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.
At least 1,761,338 candidates registered for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry Examination.

Earlier reports said only 1,671,203 results out of the 1,707,626 candidates who sat for the examinations have so far been released.
