Zambia is the first country in Africa to be declared a Christian state.
This Sunday 5:pm Nigerian time, the Network of African Christian Journalists would be having a Seminar with one of the biggest preachers in Zambia, Apostle Derek Bwalya Mutungu on how Zambia has fared in the last 31 years as a Christian state and how the Church has aided governance and public morality in Zambia.
NACJourn is an association of Christian Journalists in Africa and the diaspora, with membership in Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Zambia, Tunisia, Uganda, Liberia, etc. We desire that all African countries with great Christian population can learn from the Zambian experience.
*SPEAKER:*
Apostle Derek Mutungu qualified as a metallurgical engineer from Imperial College London, and in theology at Regent College Vancouver, Canada. He served in Zambian Copper Mines and as General Secretary of Zambia Fellowship of Evangelical Students, Pastor and Dean of students in a theological college.
Currently he is a Pastor emeritus At River of Life Dominion Centre and Adjunct lecturer at Evangelical University in Ndola Zambia. A husband of 43 years to Gladys and father of three sons domiciled in Johannesburg, SA Seattle, USA and Victoria BC Canada.
