Exiled activist and Yoruba nation campaigner, Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Igboho has reacted to the killing of worshippers in Ondo State by armed men who entered St Francis church in Owo during a Sunday service and killed many among the congregation while others sustained serious injuries.

As a result of this tragic incident, Adeyemo commonly called Sunday Igboho in a voice message listen to by Newdawnngr.com said the incidence has vindicated his stance that the Yoruba must exit the nation.
As a result, he called on South West Governors and well- meaning leaders to rally round men and resources to defend fatherland before it is too late.

Said he,”this is a testimony to what I’ve been saying that we must exist Nigeria but I was misunderstood. Now the due is cast and we are under siege of Fulani killer men who want to take over our land.
The message also trended on Twitter because of his past heroics against those terrorising his fellow tribesmen.
He said that he has accepted what happened to him as his price for the liberation of Yorubaland.
He however,urged the south west governors to rally round brave men in the region in order to out a stop to the activity of Fulani herdsmen and terrorist aimed at taking over Yorubaland.
Igboho released by Benin authorities
While reacting to the Owo massacre, Sunday Igboho condoled with the families of victims as he mourned the dead. In the video shared on Facebook by Olayomi Koiki, media aide to Sunday Igboho, the activist remarked that he is not fighting any politician but they just did not see what he saw.
“They said I was causing trouble, have you seen it now?”
To governors in South West, he said:
“It is not too late, gather men to defend our land.”
Sunday Igboho also seeks forgiveness from those who might have been offended by his past actions. He then urged the Yorubas to unite before it is too late.
