The Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, fondly called Sunday Ighoho, has been released by the Government of Republic of Benin.
The umbrella body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, announced this in a statement on Monday.
It was gathered that he was released by the Benin authorities and handed over to Professor Banji Akintoye and secretary of Ilana Yoruba Professor Adeniran early today.
It will be recalled that the activist health has deteriorated of late and has applied to be released for medical treatment in Germany.
