The African Union, AU has suspended Burkina Faso from the union.
According to the Aljazeera news,the suspension will remain in force until democratic rule is restored in the west African country.
This suspension is coming barely one week after the Economic Community of West African States, suspended the new military junta.
The new junta it will be recalled forced the President to resign and commence a trial of soldiers involved in the assassination of a former military leader Thomas Sankara by his officers led by Blaise Campaore who later transformed into a civilian President.
