Nigeria is known for its different climate conditions, especially hotness due to its location in the tropics. However, for most parts, at a particular season, it is normal for atmosphere to become harsh and cold. It usually takes between two to three months to stay warm before people could dress smarter in the next season. This is the period most people become worried about the kind of clothes to wear and how to protect themselves from the weather.
On the other hand, while others would prefer the harmattan season to other seasons. They do so by wearing light dresses to lose heat, others find protective clothes to keep body warmth. In the afternoons, it is usually hot but breezy while the morning and evening are cold.
The kind of fabric made of wool should be recommended, not cotton that attracts heat or body heat, rather, it should be the one that makes one lose heat. Fabric materials made of wool can be worn as top or under another clothes or wear another layer in order to stay immune. Scarves, hats or caps, sweaters and jackets, long gowns, long-sleeved shirts, etc are necessary wardrobe essentials to keep warmth for the season..
In addition, lipgloss and body moisturizing cream could be applied to the skin with olive oil against the arid climate. Warm baths and early morning exercise, hot beverages and applying moisturizing cream to avid skin breaks.
