Tinubu takes donation spree to Niger; gives IDP N50m

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has donated N50 million to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Niger State.

He made the donation on Thursday during a condolence visit to Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello in response to the recent spate of bandit killings in Niger State.

Tinubu made the contribution to the Governor at the Government House in Minna, saying it was to assist ease the suffering of persons afflicted by banditry assaults in the state.

He added that the current administration was doing all possible to combat banditry, and that the future government will remove bandits and terrorists and put a stop to their operations.

This comes days after the APC chieftain donated N50 million to the families of
victims of the recent killings in two local government areas of Zamfara State.

The APC leader recently also said he will buy WAEC forms for all Nigerian students if elected as the president of the country in 2023.
