Former President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, was accorded a rare privilege of decorating his son with his newly acquired rank of a Brigadier-General at the Nigerian Army Engineering Corp at the Bonny Camp, Lagos, Wednesday.
It will be recalled that,Col Adeboye Obasanjo, of the Engineering Corp who holds two Master Degrees and other professional qualifications has passed through the military mills both in Nigeria and in various foreign formations has just been promoted a Brigadier-General.
The Military authorities have accorded Chief Obasanjo the rare privilege to decorate his son with the Brigadier General rank in recognition of his pioneering of the Commander of the Enginerring Corp while in service.

The guests and other well wishers applauded a scenario where Chief (General) Olusegun Obasanjo, stood straight and in attention, to receive a military salute from his son, General Adeboye Obasanjo.
Both serving and retired senior military officers joined Chief Obasanjo and his immediate family at the event in the joy of the day.
