The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has taken stringent measures to ensure that players of the senior national team of Nigeria are not distracted when they resume camp ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
As a result fake visitors have been restricted from visiting or loitering arround the venue where the players were camped.

OwnGoalNigeria.com gathered that players of the Super Eagles won’t be allowed to host visitors in same facility where they will be camped in Abuja when preparation for the tournament begins in two days’ time.

Also security around the hotel where they will be lodged has been increased with the addition of more hands to curb the excess of individuals hanging around the hotel premise, especially ladies who are most times the first trigger towards distracting the players.

The strict measures we gathered is to forestall a reoccurrence of the issues that led to the vital allegations of some players having a sex party in the camp of the team prior to their final World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Cape Verde.

It will be recalled that Brazilian Coach to the 1982 World Cup, Tele Santana banned players bringing their spouse or girlfriends to camp claiming he could not cope dealing with 56 persons instead of his 23 players.
